Discover the Belle Glade Campus – Where Education Powers Community
Nestled in the heart of the western Palm Beach County region, Palm Beach State College’s Belle Glade campus has proudly served the community since 1972. With a strong foundation built alongside local leaders, the campus continues to grow as a center for academic opportunity, workforce training, and community engagement.
Offering Associate in Arts degrees for university transfer and Associate in Science degrees in high-demand fields like Nursing, the Belle Glade campus is also home to a range of career and technical programs, including welding, heavy equipment service technician, cosmetology, and barbering. Students enjoy flexible options with in-person and online classes serving over 3,700 learners annually.
Campus highlights include the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center, a 467-seat performance venue hosting cultural events, entertainment, and community gatherings, and the Technical Education Center, a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified facility designed to drive economic revitalization and hands-on career training using advanced technology. - Where should I park?
Please park in the visitor parking in the Aqua lot on the North side of campus. An interactive campus map with mobile wayfinding can be found at this link: BG Campus Map
- How long will the tour be?
The tour will be approximately 2 hours. If you need to leave early, just let us know!
We will begin with a short presentation of information about PBSC. The campus tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
- What happens if I'm late?
Because this is a group tour, please note that if you arrive after we leave the CRA building. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you will need to reschedule your tour.
- What should I bring?
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a water bottle.
- What happens if it's storming?
If there is lightning or thunder in the area, the tour will be canceled for your safety and the safety of our staff. In the case of a light rain, a modified tour of the covered portions of campus can be conducted.
- What should I do if I need accomodations?
Just let us know! Disclosure of a disability is voluntary, but you may inform your tour guide before the tour starts if you will need to avoid stairs or if you won't be able to participate in the full tour.
